Philadelphia Dominates Burn

Annapolis, Maryland

The home opener for the Baltimore Burn was ruined by the talented Philadelphia Phoenix.  Baltimore, playing it's first game at the beautiful Lawrence Knight Stadium at Broadneck High School, was overwhelmed by the hard charging Philly team.  The Burn kept it close in the 1st quarter with a dynamic 55 yard TD run by rookie, Tydesha Mayo. With the score only 13-8 at the beginning of the second quarter, Philly turned up the heat and cruised to a 50-8 victory.

Game stats

The Burn take on the undefeated New York Nemesis this Saturday, May 10 at 6:30pm at Broadneck High School.  Come support the young Burn team as it competes against the league's best teams.
